About Fixter

Fixter is a UK car maintenance service that you book online. Rather than running its own garages, it works with a network of local garages that it selects and checks, and its drivers collect your car from home, take it to the garage and bring it back once the work is done. It is part of Renault Group, and the company was registered in 2016.

It covers MOTs from £49, car servicing from £129, oil changes from £89 and diagnostic checks at a fixed fee of £59, plus a wide list of repairs such as brake pads, timing belts and air conditioning regas. You get a quote online by entering your registration and postcode, and payment is taken once the work is complete.

Work booked through Fixter comes with a 12-month warranty on parts and labour. If your car fails its MOT and then passes at another garage, Fixter says it will refund the original test, though collection and delivery fees are not refunded. Cancelling within 72 hours of the appointment may cost £20. Its advisors can be reached by phone on weekdays.
