About Glasseslit
Glasseslit is an online glasses shop that describes itself as one of the largest eyewear wholesalers and retailers in Asia. It sells frames for women, men and children, sunglasses and magnetic clip-on frames, and you can order a frame on its own, with non-prescription lenses, or with single-vision, reading or multifocal lenses made up to a prescription you type in.
The pitch is price. Many frames are listed at $10 or less in its current sales, and lens upgrades are added at checkout, with options such as blue-light lenses and coatings. Frames can be filtered by shape, material (metal, titanium, acetate, TR90, wood) and size.
Everything is priced in US dollars and ships from abroad: standard delivery to Europe is $7.90 and quoted at 15-30 business days, on top of lens processing time. Returns are limited: within 30 days you can choose a one-time store credit or a 50% refund of the production cost, and you pay the return postage.
