About Harrison Holidays
Harrison Holidays is a family business that grew from one touring caravan. George Harrison bought his first caravan in the 1970s, bought his first caravan park in 1980, and the Harrison Holidays company was formed in 2000 with Brooklyn Park in Southport. His three sons now run the business, which trades as part of the Harrison Leisure group.
The group has added parks steadily: Riverside in Southport in 2001, Royal Umpire near Preston in 2005, Wild Rose in Cumbria's Eden Valley in 2007, then Percy Wood in Northumberland, Abbey Farm near Ormskirk, White Rose near Thirsk, Rawcliffe Hall near Blackpool and Cakes & Ale in Suffolk. Crofthead in Ayrshire and Ardlui Holiday Park, Hotel & Marina on Loch Lomond joined in 2025, taking the total to eleven parks.
Holidays can be booked at most of the parks, in caravans, lodges (some with private hot tubs), glamping pods and hives, apartments and a farmhouse, with touring pitches at several sites and dog-friendly accommodation available. Facilities vary by park and include bars and restaurants, play areas and entertainment. The other half of the business sells new and used static caravans and lodges for people who want to own a holiday home on one of the parks, with free VIP park tours for buyers.
