About Magzter

Magzter is a digital newsstand where you can buy single issues and subscriptions to magazines and newspapers, or take out Magzter GOLD, an all-you-can-read plan covering more than 10,000 titles. It was founded in 2011 by Girish Ramdas and Vijayakumar Radhakrishnan, is headquartered in New York, and has been owned by VerSe Innovation since 2024.

The catalogue is international, with a UK section alongside titles from the US, Asia and Europe. You read on the website or in the Magzter apps for iOS and Android, and issues can be downloaded for offline reading. Single-title subscriptions run for 3, 6 or 12 months, and purchases are stored in your account so they can be reopened on another device.

Magzter GOLD starts with a 7-day free trial, and the site advertises a 7-day no-questions refund policy. Prices are shown in your local currency based on where you are browsing from, so the dollar prices we saw in archived copies of the site will differ from the pound price shown to UK visitors.
