Every MEL Science deal here comes from MEL Science itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. About MEL Science
MEL Science is an educational subscription company run by MEL Science Ltd, registered in England and Wales and based in London. Its name doubles as its mission, Make Everyone Love Science, and it has been sending science kits to families since 2015. The leadership team includes founder Vassili Philippov and Michael Stevens, the science communicator behind Vsauce.
Subscribers pick one or more subjects by age: STEM for ages 5 and up, Physics for 8 and up and Chemistry for 10 and up. A new hands-on kit arrives each month, with projects such as building a microscope or a hydraulic lift, making an electric motor, or growing tin crystals. Each kit comes with video instructions in the MEL app, and some subjects add augmented or virtual reality lessons. Chemistry subscribers get a starter home lab with their first box. You can switch subjects, pause or cancel from your account at any time.
Subscriptions start at £25.90 a month, and an annual plan gives 12 months for the price of 8. Gift subscriptions are prepaid for 6 or 12 months with no renewal. MEL accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Kits can't be exchanged, and damaged kits must be reported on the day they arrive.
