About Morgan & French
Morgan & French began in 2006 as FingerPrint Jewellery, started by Lisa Morgan at her kitchen table. Her early ranges turned children's drawings into silver charms and tiny hand and footprints into cufflinks, and those Little Picassos and hand and footprint pieces are still part of the line-up. The business took the Morgan & French name in 2016 to mark its first ten years.
Everything is made to order. The range covers story bracelets with engraved or hand-stamped silver beads, fingerprint and handwriting jewellery, dog nose and paw print pieces, soundwave and secret message rings, signet rings, cufflinks, keyrings and chains, plus memorial and ashes jewellery. Each product page shows the price, the options you can personalise and either an expected despatch date or the number of working days needed once you've sent your prints, photos or artwork. Gift cards are sold from £10.
The main studio is in the old Victorian fire station in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, and the Little Workshop in St George's Square, Stamford, opened in October 2021 as the first physical shop. It displays examples of the made-to-order ranges and sells some ready-made pieces. Lisa also runs small beginner jewellery workshops in Stamford. Orders go by Royal Mail across the UK and to many countries, but not to the EU.
