Every Orbit Mobile deal here comes from Orbit Mobile itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Orbit Mobile may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
Orbit Mobile sells travel eSIMs: digital SIM profiles that you download to your phone instead of buying a plastic SIM card at the airport. The business is run by Orbit Mobile Limited, a company registered in England in June 2024 with an office in the City of London, and its terms describe it as a reseller of prepaid eSIMs. It says its plans work in more than 170 countries across over 350 partner networks, with 5G in most countries.
The plans are data only, so you keep your usual phone number for calls and texts while the Orbit eSIM handles mobile data abroad. You choose a destination or a regional plan, pay online, and get a download link or QR code by email and in your account. The idea is that you install the eSIM once, then add new plans to it for later trips, and a plan starts automatically when you arrive in a country it covers. You can also share data with a laptop or a travelling companion through your phone's hotspot.
Plans must be activated within six months of purchase. If your phone turns out not to support eSIM, or the eSIM can't be downloaded, Orbit says it will refund you, and refund requests have to be made within 30 days of purchase. Once an eSIM has been installed it counts as used, so accidental purchases aren't refunded, though an unused wrong plan can be swapped. There are iPhone and Android apps as well as the website.
| Delivery | Delivered digitally: after you buy a plan you get an eSIM download link or QR code by email and in your Orbit Mobile account. |
|---|---|
| Returns | Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. If the eSIM can't be downloaded and the plan hasn't been used, you can ask for a refund; an installed eSIM counts as used, but an unused wrong plan can be exchanged. Plans must be activated within six months of purchase or they expire. |
| Loyalty scheme | Referral rewards and promotional credits can be added to your account; unused credits expire 12 months after they are applied. |
|---|---|
| App | Orbit Mobile apps for iPhone and Android let you buy plans and find your eSIM download link. |
| Ways to pay | Card payments are processed by Stripe. |
