About Personal-Art
Personal-Art has been making personalised pop art online since 2003. It began with two styles, portraits in the manner of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, and has since grown to dozens, from photo collages and polygon portraits to stained glass, propaganda poster, street art and sketch styles. The business is run by Personal Art Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, led by owner Ronan Le Breton, and its UK site prices everything in pounds.
Ordering works like a commission. You pick a style, choose how many people, pets or objects you want in the picture, upload one photo per subject and add any notes about colours or cropping. A team of digital artists then sends you a proof by email, aiming for within 48 hours, and you can ask for changes as many times as you like before approving it. The design price covers one subject, with each extra person or pet costing more.
Once approved, your artwork can be printed on canvas, stretched over a 2cm or 4cm frame, or on a paper poster, or you can buy a high-resolution digital file to print elsewhere. The site quotes a typical turnaround of 10 to 14 days from order to delivery and recommends ordering before 5 December for UK Christmas delivery. Gift certificates are also available.
