Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every Runners Need deal here comes from Runners Need itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Runners Need may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About Runners Need
Runners Need is a specialist running retailer with shops across the UK, from Aberdeen and Edinburgh to Truro, and several in London including Camden, Covent Garden, Islington and Spitalfields. It sits within Cotswold Outdoor Group alongside Cotswold Outdoor and Snow+Rock, and its website sells the same mix you find in the shops: running shoes from Hoka, Brooks, Asics, Nike, On, New Balance, Saucony, Puma and Salomon, plus clothing, hydration vests, head torches, nutrition and GPS watches from Garmin and others.
The main reason people go to Runners Need rather than a general sports shop is the advice. Every store offers gait analysis, where you run on a treadmill for a few seconds while software records how you move, and staff use that to suggest shoes. It is free if you buy running shoes in store or online within 30 days, otherwise it costs £15, and there is also an optional side-view running form analysis at extra cost. You can book appointments online.
Online, the site has a shoe finder, an outlet section and filters for gait type, cushioning and the kind of run you are training for, from easy miles to race day. Orders over £125 get free next day delivery, Click & Collect to a store is free, and you can return items to a shop. There is also a free Explore More membership, a student discount through Student Beans and gift cards from £5.

Can I use more than one Runners Need discount code?
Usually not: most stores, including Runners Need, accept one discount code per order. Automatic deals and sale prices can often be combined with a code, so check the terms on each offer.
Does Runners Need offer a first-order discount?
We don't have a first-order code for Runners Need right now. Sign up for alerts and we'll email you if one lands.
Can I use a Runners Need discount code on sale items?
It depends on the code. Many discount codes exclude items that are already reduced, so open Terms on the code before you use it.
Can I combine the Runners Need student discount with other offers?
Usually not with another discount code, as most stores take one code per order. Student discount often still applies to sale prices and alongside free-delivery deals, so check the terms of the student offer.

Over the last two years we've listed Runners Need codes or deals worth 20% or more in October. Sign up for alerts to hear when the next one lands.
Why didn't my Runners Need code work?
Most codes exclude gift cards and items already reduced, and some need a minimum spend or are for new customers only. Open Terms on the code, or tap "Didn't work?" and we'll recheck it.
Are these Runners Need codes verified?
Every Runners Need code here comes from Runners Need itself: its own daily feed through its official affiliate programme, or its own website. Each offer shows when we last checked it.
Does Voucher Magpie donate to charity?
Yes. When you buy from Runners Need through our links, Runners Need pays us a commission, and we give 50% of it to the charity or club you choose. We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order.
Does using Voucher Magpie cost more?
No. You pay Runners Need's normal price, less any discount. Our commission is paid by Runners Need or its affiliate network, not by you.
