About Sinocare
Sinocare is a medical device company founded in Changsha, China, in 2002, with the aim of putting a blood glucose meter in the hands of every person with diabetes in China. It has since grown into a large maker of blood glucose monitoring kit, and in 2016 it bought the US firms Nipro Diagnostics (now Trividia Health) and PTS Diagnostics.
Its English-language online shop sells home monitoring devices in pounds to UK customers. The range covers several blood glucose meters, including the Safe AQ Smart, Safe Accu and Bluetooth-enabled Safe AQ Air, along with matching test strips and lancets in packs of 50, 100 and 200. There are also combined blood glucose and uric acid meters, upper-arm blood pressure monitors and insulin pen needles. Each meter needs its own matching strips, so the shop lists strips by meter model.
Shipping is free to the UK, and orders sent from the local warehouse usually arrive in three to five business days; items shipped from China take longer.
