About Snoop
Snoop is a UK budgeting and money management app run by Usnoop Limited, which joined Vanquis Banking Group in July 2023. You connect your bank accounts and credit cards through Open Banking, and the app shows all your balances and transactions in one place, sorts spending into categories and compares it with last month.
The free version covers spending analysis, instant budgets, bill and subscription tracking, contract renewal reminders, a free credit score check and daily personalised suggestions it calls Snoops. Snoop Plus adds unlimited custom categories, spending and refund alerts, payday-to-payday tracking, net worth tracking and data export for £5.99 a month or £47.99 a year. There is also an easy access savings account opened inside the app and provided by Vanquis Bank.
Snoop makes money from bill-switching commissions, anonymised data insight and Snoop Plus subscriptions. Usnoop Limited is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2017, and the app says it never sees your bank login details. It suits anyone who wants a clearer picture of where their money goes without building a spreadsheet.
