Ways to save at Spine Book Printing
- Supply a 300dpi PDF at your ordered size, in CMYK, with crop and bleed marks. The free file check flags low-resolution images and works out your spine width, but it doesn't check spelling or design.
- Use the free hard-copy sample to check page order and layout. Only one complimentary sample is included per order, so make all your corrections in one go.
- Not sure which size or paper to choose? The One-Off Book Sample (from £49) prints a sample copy in your chosen size and paper before you commit to a full run.
- Uncoated 100gsm paper suits text-heavy novels and guides, while 130gsm gloss is the better pick for photos and colour pages.
- If you order twice from the same account, the team can combine both orders into one delivery.

Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every Spine Book Printing deal here comes from Spine Book Printing itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. About Spine Book Printing
Spine Book Printing is a self-publishing print service run from Starnes Court in Maidstone, Kent. Its terms say the business is operated by Absolute Creative Print Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales in April 2010, with a sister print shop in Tonbridge. It prints books for self-published authors, schools, community groups and small businesses, and all printing is done in the UK.
The range is deliberately simple. There are paperbacks and hardbacks in three sizes: A4, A5 and a novel size of 198mm x 129mm. For each one you choose 100gsm uncoated or 130gsm gloss paper, matt or gloss cover lamination, black and white or full colour printing, a page count band up to 500 pages and a quantity of 10, 25, 50 or 100 copies. There are also design services for anyone who needs help with a cover or with laying out the inside pages.
The process runs in five steps. You pay for your order, upload a print-ready PDF, and the design team checks your file and sends a digital proof plus a free wire-bound hard-copy sample within three working days. Nothing is printed until you approve it in writing. The full run then goes out by APC courier, with free delivery to UK addresses and local van delivery within 20 miles of Maidstone. The firm prints on FSC-certified paper and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
