STORY Seychelles is a five-star resort on Beau Vallon Beach, on the north-west coast of Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. It opened in August 2015 under the H-Hotel Group and was bought in November 2020 by STORY Hospitality, part of Abu Dhabi Capital Group in the UAE. The resort is about 30 minutes' drive from Seychelles International Airport and around 15 minutes from the capital, Victoria.
There are 100 rooms: 84 suites and 16 beach pool villas. Junior suites of 55 square metres come with a balcony or a ground-floor garden terrace, and a 110 square metre Family Suite joins two junior suites for groups of up to six. On the beach itself, the villas range from the 150 square metre Beach Pool Villa for two up to a 400 square metre Family Beach Pool Villa with two private pools. Facilities include an infinity pool, Sesel Spa, a gym, four restaurants and two bars, a natural lagoon in the grounds and a reef around 50 metres offshore.
The resort is a long-haul trip from the UK, and its packages are priced in euros, with some spa extras in Seychelles rupees. You can book on its own website, which lists packages such as all-inclusive stays, a honeymoon package and longer-stay discounts. The resort says booking direct gets you its best rate, early check-in or late check-out when available, a flexible cancellation policy and free parking.
| Returns | Cancellation terms depend on the rate. Several packages, including the sustainability offer, are fully prepaid and non-refundable with a 100% cancellation fee, while the resort lists a flexible cancellation policy as a benefit of booking direct. |
