About The Sleep People
The Sleep People is a mattress manufacturer and online retailer based in Ossett, West Yorkshire. The business says it was formed in 2014 when two companies merged, and it has since grown by adding and launching its own brands, including Starlight Beds, Extreme Comfort, The Foam People and Hargreave and Flynn.
The range runs from budget open coil and contract mattresses for students, landlords and caravans through to hybrid and pocket sprung models with memory foam layers. It also sells bed frames, divans and ottoman storage beds in wood, fabric and metal, plus pillows, mattress toppers and replacement covers. Mattresses come in all the usual UK sizes, European sizes and custom sizes.
Standard UK delivery is free, and many mattresses arrive rolled and boxed. The company only delivers within the UK and does not collect old mattresses. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days, though the customer usually pays the return postage.
