About Urban Bar USA
Urban Bar USA is the American online store of Urban Bar, a glassware and barware company based in Cambridgeshire. It ships from a warehouse in Montana and prices are in US dollars. If you live in the UK, use the UK store at urbanbar.com instead, as the US site's own shipping page points UK buyers there.
The business behind it was set up in 1980 by Richard Andrews, a former buyer for Liberty and Heal's, and the Urban Bar brand followed in 2001. It is now run by his son Nick. Urban Bar designs glasses and bar tools for drinks brands, bars and hotels, and also sells to home cocktail makers. The US range covers shakers, jiggers, strainers, bar spoons, cocktail and Nick & Nora glasses, gin balloons and whisky tasting glasses, with finishes such as gold, copper and rose gold.
US shipping costs $25 on orders under $100 and $10 above that, and parcels need a signature. Unused items can be returned for an exchange or refund if you contact the company within 30 days. The company notes that US prices are higher than in its UK and EU stores because of shipping and import duty costs.
