Wallester is a payments company based in Tallinn, Estonia. Wallester AS is a payment institution licensed by Estonia's financial supervisor, the Finantsinspektsioon, and an official Visa Principal Member. It also has a UK company, Wallester UK Limited, registered at Companies House in 2022 with an address in London, and offices in Cannes and Riga. It's a business service rather than a shop: everything it sells is aimed at companies, sole traders and freelancers.
The main product is Wallester Business, an online account with IBANs in ten currencies, including pounds, euros and US dollars, plus virtual and physical Visa cards for staff. Owners can set limits on each card, restrict where cards can be used, collect receipts, run payroll and bulk payouts to cards, and export transactions to Xero and QuickBooks. There's a newer free account for freelancers that takes payments by bank transfer, invoice or QR code.
The basic Business plan costs €0 a month and includes 300 virtual cards and unlimited physical cards. Paid plans (Premium at €199 a month and Platinum at €999 a month) add more virtual cards and extra support, and there are fees for things like card delivery, ATM withdrawals, card top-ups and currency conversion, all set out on its price list. Wallester also sells a white-label platform that lets other firms launch their own branded cards. Its site says Wallester Business takes businesses from the EEA, the UK, the UAE, Singapore, the USA and Canada.
