Wallester isn't a shop in the usual sense. It's a payments company from Tallinn, Estonia, that sells business accounts and payment cards to companies, sole traders and freelancers. Wallester AS is a payment institution licensed by Estonia's financial supervisor and a Visa Principal Member, and it has a UK company, Wallester UK Limited, registered in London. If you run a small business, an agency or a team that spends money online, it's worth knowing about.
The core product is Wallester Business: an online account with IBANs in ten currencies, including pounds, euros and US dollars, plus virtual and physical Visa cards you can hand out to staff. Each card can have its own limits and merchant rules, staff can attach receipts in the app, and transactions export to Xero and QuickBooks. Its site says the service is open to businesses in the EEA, the UK, the UAE, Singapore, the USA and Canada.

For most small businesses the place to start is the Wallester Business account. On the price list, the Free plan costs €0 a month and includes 300 virtual cards, unlimited physical cards, unlimited users, accounting integrations and the developer API. Premium (€199 a month) and Platinum (€999 a month) mainly add more virtual cards, analytics and a dedicated relationship manager, so they suit businesses running thousands of cards.
The virtual cards are the most useful feature for anyone paying for ad accounts, software subscriptions or suppliers online: you can create a card in seconds, set a limit and freeze it on its own if something goes wrong. Teams that pay contractors or staff can use payroll cards, which send up to 1,500 payouts in one batch from an Excel, XML or CSV file. Freelancers get their own free account, with payments by bank transfer, invoice or QR code.
Current offers
We don't have any Wallester voucher codes in our feed at the moment. What Wallester itself offers is:
- A free Business plan at €0 a month, with 300 virtual cards and unlimited physical cards included.
- A free freelancer account with no setup fee and no monthly fee.
"Free" covers the account and cards, not every transaction. The price list sets out fees such as €5 for standard card delivery, 1.2% for topping up by card, €15 for bank top-ups in currencies other than euros, ATM charges and currency conversion at the Visa rate plus 2%.
How to save more
- Top up in euros by bank transfer if you can, as that's the top-up route the price list shows as free.
- Hold balances in the currencies you actually spend in, so you're not paying conversion on every payment.
- Stick to virtual cards where possible: they're included in your plan and avoid delivery fees for physical cards.
