About GOSH Charity
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity raises money for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, which treats children with rare and complex conditions. The hospital opened in 1852.
The charity pays for things beyond what the NHS would normally fund. This includes research into new treatments, specialist medical equipment, and rebuilding and refurbishing hospital facilities, such as a new Children's Cancer Centre. It also funds support services for patients and their families while children are being treated.
