Cyber Monday 2026: is it better than Black Friday?
Cyber Monday falls on 30 November this year. Here's what usually changes between Friday and Monday, and when to buy.

Cyber Monday started in the US as the online follow-up to Black Friday. In the UK the two have merged into one long sale, but there are still differences worth knowing.
What usually changes on Monday
- Some prices drop further. Stores sometimes cut prices again on lines that didn't sell over the weekend.
- Popular items sell out. The most wanted products, sizes and colours often go on Friday.
- Online extras appear. Expect app-only codes, extra percentages off sale items, and free delivery offers.
- Software and subscriptions often have their best prices on Cyber Monday.
So when should you buy?
If you've found a good price on something you really want, buy it. The chance of a slightly lower price on Monday rarely beats the risk of it selling out. If you're flexible, waiting can pay off on clothes, homeware and smaller tech.
We'll keep each store's page updated over the whole weekend. See our calendar of sale dates for the rest of the year.
