Looking for a McDonald's voucher code? For many UK customers, the more useful starting point is the official McDonald's app. That is where personalised offers and MyMcDonald's Rewards live. The important distinction is that an offer visible to one account may not be available to everyone else.
How MyMcDonald’s Rewards works
McDonald's says participating purchases earn one Rewards point for each penny spent. Points can be exchanged for eligible rewards shown in the app. You need to order in a way that links the transaction to your account and meet the programme's terms. A reward is not necessarily an instant reduction on every purchase.
Where to find real McDonald’s offers
- Open the official McDonald’s app and look at Deals and Rewards before building your order.
- Read the offer card: eligible products, participating restaurants, redemption window and order channel can differ.
- Compare the price of a meal deal with ordering its components separately; check any delivery charge too.
- If ordering for several people, compare available bundles and rewards rather than assuming the largest order is cheapest.
Student, NHS and birthday discounts: what to know
Do not assume a nationwide student, NHS or birthday code applies to every UK restaurant. Check the app and the participating location. Some promotions are account-specific, time-limited or restricted to a particular ordering method. A code found on a third-party page is not evidence that it will work at your branch.
Our practical price-check
Compare the final basket in three places if available: the McDonald’s app, the in-restaurant menu and your chosen delivery platform. A headline discount may be smaller than extra delivery and service fees. Use rewards only when they match what you actually wanted to buy; chasing points on an unnecessary item is not a saving.
