Wagamama offers two quite different ways to get value in the UK: a student benefit for eligible verified members and Soul Club, its wider loyalty scheme. Knowing which one applies matters, because some rewards and discounts cannot be combined.
Verified students: 20% Sunday to Thursday
Wagamama currently advertises 20% off food and drink from Sunday to Thursday for members of its Soul Club Student Society who have verified their student status in the app. This is an eligibility-based benefit, not a publicly reusable voucher code. You should check the app for the discount and read its exclusions before ordering.
How Soul Club stamps work
According to Wagamama, a qualifying £12 spend can earn a stamp. Stamps can be collected when dining in with app check-in and payment, or through qualifying connected online orders. Its standard sequence gives a side reward after three stamps and a main after six, subject to the current programme terms. The app shows your exact rewards and expiry.
Check the redemption method
- Download the official Wagamama app and join Soul Club before your visit.
- Students should complete the student-status verification to activate the separate student benefit.
- For dine-in, check in and follow the app payment or redemption flow rather than simply showing a code afterward.
- Check the £12 qualifying spend rule, which is calculated after discounts and excludes charges such as tips.
- Verify whether the specific reward can be used with another offer; do not assume stacking.
What if you order for delivery?
A delivery order may earn qualifying stamps when the correct account email is supplied through a supported channel, but standard Soul Club free-food rewards are normally redeemed in a restaurant. Delivery platform fees also make the advertised percentage saving less straightforward than it appears.
Best value for occasional visitors
If you are an eligible student visiting Sunday to Thursday, compare the immediate discount with any reward currently in your wallet. If you eat there often, account-linked stamps may matter more over time. The best choice is the one that saves money on your intended meal without increasing the order.
