Balance Recovery is an online retailer of home wellness kit, run by JG Commerce Ltd from Monkton Business Park in South Tyneside. It sells saunas, ice baths and cold plunge tubs, hot tubs, steam rooms and massage chairs. Some of the saunas come from specialist makers in Finland and Estonia, and it also sells its own Balance Recovery kits. Most orders over the phone start with a free consultation, which helps when you're working out space, power supply and installation.

It suits people building a garden sauna or cold plunge routine, home gym owners, and commercial buyers such as gyms and spas. This is big-ticket shopping. Prices run from a few hundred pounds for an inflatable plunge tub to tens of thousands for a Finnish log sauna. Many items can be ordered with a deposit and the balance paid before dispatch.
