Elesi is an online electrical and lighting shop run by Elesi Limited, based at Par in Cornwall since 2017. It shares its address with Soho Electrical Group, and much of the range comes from the Soho Lighting Company, alongside Elesi's own products.

It suits anyone doing up a home who wants the small details to match: plug sockets, USB sockets, light switches and dimmers in finishes from brushed brass and black nickel to antique copper and paintable plates. There are LED bulbs sorted by fitting and colour temperature, vintage filament bulbs, and pendant, wall, bathroom and outdoor lights. Electricians and developers can open a trade account for wholesale pricing.

What's worth a look

Here are six picks from the lighting, bulb and socket ranges, with prices as shown today.

The Ganton cage pendant is one of the bigger reductions at £39.86 against an £84 RRP. For an easy change, the black nickel double socket with two USB-A ports is £15.

The socket range goes well beyond plugs: there are USB-C sockets, shaver sockets, TV and satellite points, floor sockets, fused spurs, cooker switches and grid switch modules, so you can keep one finish right through a room. Many come with black or white inserts, and screwless plates hide the fixings for a cleaner look.

The bulbs are sorted by fitting (E27, B22, E14, B15 and GU10), by shape and by colour temperature, from 1800K sunset white for a cosy glow to cool white for kitchens and work areas. Several are dimmable, and there are high-CRI bulbs that show colours more accurately.

Orders placed by 4pm on a working day are sent out the same day, unless a product page shows a longer lead time.
