JDM-Military is the online shop for JDM+, the sporty offshoot of Swiss watchmaker Jacques du Manoir. Where the parent brand leans towards dress watches, JDM+ makes field, pilot and chronograph styles for men who want a tough-looking everyday watch. Every model carries the Swiss cross, and the brand says each one is made and assembled in Switzerland, with a stainless steel case and sapphire crystal.
The shop is run from Switzerland, but UK visitors can switch the country selector to United Kingdom and see prices in pounds. Parcels go out Delivery Duty Paid, so the price at checkout should be the last thing you pay, with no customs bill on the doorstep. The company quotes three to five business days for UK delivery, and every watch comes with a five-year international warranty against manufacturing defects. It suits anyone after a Swiss Made watch at a mid-range price, especially if they like military-inspired designs.

The Sierra Chrono is the one to watch during the Fall Sale: the black-dial version on a steel bracelet is £259, down from £370, and it has day, date and small-seconds sub-dials in a 43mm case. If you want something simpler, the Interlaken Gents line starts at £185 for a 41mm three-hand watch with a sunray dial, and the newer Vector runs from £231 with 10 ATM water resistance. There is also a small women's collection and a pilots' watch section if the chronographs feel too big.
