AWD-IT is a UK computer retailer based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, trading as ADMI Limited. It's best known for gaming PCs that its own technicians assemble and test, and it also sells the parts to build or upgrade a machine yourself. It recently opened a showroom at its Rosevale Business Park base, where you can see systems running and collect orders.

It suits gamers who want a ready-made PC without the hassle of building one, and DIY builders after a graphics card, processor or motherboard bundle. The range runs from its own pre-built and configurable gaming PCs to business PCs, components, gaming monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets, chairs and sim racing kit. Each product page shows the price with and without VAT, which is handy if you're buying for a business.

Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses (the Scottish Isles are excluded) and takes 4 to 5 working days, with faster tracked and express options at checkout. For custom PCs, the build time you choose is added on top of delivery. AWD-IT's PCs come with a 3-year parts and labour warranty, and you can upgrade to a Platinum 5-year labour warranty when you order.

What's worth a look

Here's a mix of AWD-IT's own gaming PCs and monitors, at the prices shown on its site today.

The AWD-IT Hecate is the entry point: a Ryzen 5 and RTX 5050 machine with 16GB of RAM and Windows 11 for £839.99, aimed at Full HD gaming. If you want more graphics power, the Astraeus is on a special price, down from £1,699.99. On the monitor side, the Philips Evnia 24-inch model offers a 260Hz refresh rate for £119.99.

Many of the PCs can be configured on the product page, with drop-down choices for the case, processor, cooler, motherboard, memory and graphics card. Each listing also shows a build time, which works as a queue: AWD-IT asks customers to wait until that time has passed before chasing an order, so pick a quicker option if you're in a hurry.
