Landmar Hotels has two hotels in Puerto de Santiago, in the sunny south-west of Tenerife, a few steps from the black volcanic sand of Playa de la Arena and the Los Gigantes cliffs. Landmar Costa Los Gigantes is a family resort with spacious suites, a spa and plenty for children, including a mascot called Landi. Landmar Playa la Arena is a calmer oceanfront hotel that suits couples and anyone after a quiet break, with an adults-only Platinum section for over-16s.

Both are booked on the official website, with room prices in euros. If you're travelling from the UK you can also book a hotel and flight package, organised by an ATOL-licensed partner, with a one-way transfer from Tenerife South Airport included.

What's worth a look

Here are the two hotels plus a few pages that help you pick the right room.

Room prices are shown as "from" prices per night. At Costa Los Gigantes a 30-square-metre Double started from €98 a night, a Family Suite for up to four from €101 and a Suite Ocean View from €122. At Playa la Arena a Standard room started from €79 a night, rising to €87 for a Deluxe with open sea views and €120 for a Platinum room. Platinum adds a welcome pack, a pillow menu, reserved restaurant areas and The View, an infinity pool lounge with drinks and snacks all day.

Gift cards come in amounts from €50 to €500 or a value you choose, last a year and are redeemed as a promo code on the website.

How to save more

• Join the free Landmar Community by adding your email when you book. Perks build up with your nights, from late access to the hotel on departure day to à la carte dinners, spa circuits and free airport shuttles on larger bookings.
• Use the same email address every time, because your nights only count towards the higher levels if Landmar can match them to you.
• Compare hotel-only with Hotel + Flight. The package includes the transfer from Tenerife South, which can tip the balance for a family.
