MINOX Boutique is an independent designer shop on St Ebbe's Street in the centre of Oxford, opened in autumn 2018 by a husband-and-wife team. The name joins the founder's name, Min, with the city. Alongside the shop there's a full online store, priced in pounds with tax included, that ships across the UK and worldwide.

It's a multi-brand store at the luxury end. The women's and men's ranges take in Acne Studios, Barbour, Brunello Cucinelli, Burberry, Canada Goose, Golden Goose, Lemaire, Max Mara, Moncler, Studio Nicholson, The Row, Toteme and more, and the boutique says it's an authorised stockist of every brand it carries. There's also a home collection of Fornasetti porcelain and lamps. It suits anyone who wants these labels without a trip to London, and bargain hunters who keep an eye on designer sales.

If you're near Oxford, the shop is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and you can book a personal styling appointment.

What's worth a look

The sale is where the savings are. The Acne Studios Bars Drago sneakers were half price at £210, down from £420, and the Polo Ralph Lauren bear sweater was £327 instead of £545. At the more affordable end of the new season, the Barbour Teddy Liner Gilet is £140 and works over a knit or under a jacket.

For a gift or a treat for the home, the Fornasetti pieces stand out. The High Fidelity Stellato tea cup is hand-decorated porcelain with gold detailing at £250. Bear in mind that home collection pieces can't be returned.
