YOEK is a Dutch womenswear label that has designed clothes for women with curves since 1985. Everything comes in paired sizes from 38/40 up to 58/60, and the brand is built around fit and fabric rather than trend-chasing basics. It suits women who want considered, well-made pieces for work, evenings out and occasions, and who are happy to pay premium prices for them.

There are three main lines. The YOEK main collection brings bold prints and colour each season, YOEK essentials covers everyday basics, and YOEK black label is the dressier range of cocktail dresses and sheer tops. Many pieces use the brand's soft stretch fabrics, such as dolce, and this autumn's new collection leans into caramel and deep brown.

One thing to know up front: the UK site charges in euros and ships from YOEK's warehouse near Amsterdam. UK delivery is €18.95, or free over €175, and takes 5 to 7 working days with a signature needed on delivery. Orders over £135 can attract UK VAT, import duty and a carrier fee when they arrive.

What's worth a look

The outlet is where the value is. The Sylvie blazer is down from €199.90 to €99.95, and the check cardigan is half price at €144.95. Outlet stock is final sizes only, so check your size is still listed before you get attached. From the new season, the light brown Top eco vero flower at €179 is a good example of the autumn colour story.

Current offers

The Outlet currently has dresses, blouses, cardigans, trousers and blazers at 30% to 50% off, all in final sizes. UK delivery is free on orders over €175.

There's also a tax saving for UK shoppers. Prices on the site include 21% Dutch VAT, and YOEK's shipping page says customers outside the EU can remove it by choosing their country at checkout and entering the code VATCODE. UK import VAT and duty may still apply on orders over £135.

How to save more

• Use VATCODE at checkout to take off the Dutch VAT, then check the final total in pounds before you pay, as your card provider will convert from euros.
• Think about order size. Above €175 you save the €18.95 delivery charge, but above £135 UK import charges can kick in, so it's worth working out which way is cheaper for your basket.
• Create an account and shop while logged in to earn YOEK Elite points. At 3,000 points you get a €25 credit code.
