About Africa Safari Trips
Africa Safari Trips plans tailor-made safaris in East and Southern Africa. The business is run by Afrika Safari B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands, with its own offices, guides and 4x4 safari vehicles in Nairobi and Kampala. A sister brand, Tanzania Specialist, handles Tanzania trips. The focus is on private trips: you get your own guide and vehicle rather than joining a shared minibus, and you choose the pace.
The website shows sample itineraries for Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, from short self-drive routes around Kruger and Cape Town to two-week trips that combine game drives with time on the Kenyan coast or gorilla trekking in Uganda. Every itinerary can be changed, and the usual first step is to ask for a free travel proposal. Prices can be shown in pounds, euros or US dollars, and the 'from' prices are per person, based on a group of four or six travelling in low season, excluding international flights.
Because the company is Dutch, bookings aren't ATOL-protected. Instead, customer payments are covered by the Dutch travel guarantee fund SGR (member 3824). Every trip includes the free Hakuna Matata support package, with a travel dossier, 24/7 support and help if things go wrong on the road.

How to use an Africa Safari Trips voucher code
- Tap Get code on the offer you want. We copy the code for you and open Africa Safari Trips in a new tab.
- Check the offer's Terms first: some codes need a minimum spend, are for new customers only, or exclude sale items.
- Add what you want to your basket on africasafaritrips.com, or in the Africa Safari Trips app if the code is app-only.
- Go to the checkout and choose your delivery option.
- Paste the code into the discount code or promo code box and apply it. Check the discount shows in your order total before you pay.
- Didn't work? Tap Didn't work? under the code so we can recheck it, and read why codes fail.
Ways to save at Africa Safari Trips
- Switch the site's currency to British Pound to see itinerary prices in GBP.
- The 'from' prices assume six travellers (private guided trips) or four (self-drive) in low season, so ask for a quote for your actual group size and dates.
- Bank transfer avoids the 2% fee charged on card payments.
- If you book more than 120 days ahead, the Hakuna Matata page says you only need to pay 25% at booking.
- Payments are protected by the Dutch SGR fund rather than ATOL, so arrange your own travel insurance (Chapka cover is offered as an add-on).
