Airport Taxis is the booking site of Onward Travel Solutions Ltd, a company based at Cheddar Business Park in Somerset and incorporated in February 2006. It arranges pre-booked private taxi transfers to and from airports across the UK, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester to Edinburgh, Belfast, Inverness and Newquay, for individuals, families, groups and businesses.
You get an instant online quote by entering your start and end points, then choose a vehicle. The fleet runs from saloon and estate cars to executive cars, people carriers, executive people carriers and eight-seater minibuses, and a vehicle calculator helps you match the car to your passengers and luggage. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. Drivers track your flight on airport pickups, and the first hour of waiting after landing is free. A meet and greet service with a name board can be added for a fee.
Bookings are paid online by card, with receipts and journey details sent by email. Businesses can open a corporate account with fixed rates, monthly VAT invoicing and 28-day credit terms. Live chat is staffed 24 hours a day, and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice.
