Every Chiva-Som deal here comes from Chiva-Som itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Chiva-Som may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
Chiva-Som opened in 1995, when founder Boonchu Rojanastien turned his private beachside property in Hua Hin, on Thailand's Gulf coast, into what the company calls Asia's first "Haven of Life". Thirty years on, Chiva-Som Hua Hin remains its flagship: a resort of 54 rooms and suites set in tropical gardens by the sea, from Ocean Rooms and Thai Pavilions to suites such as Jasmine, Juniper and the garden Leelawadee Suite. The group's corporate office is in Bangkok, and in 2022 it opened Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som in Qatar, which offers Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine alongside separate adult and family experiences.
Stays at Hua Hin are booked as wellness retreats rather than plain room nights. Retreats include accommodation, three wellness-cuisine meals a day, a consultation on arrival, one treatment per night, group fitness and leisure classes and use of the steam rooms, saunas, pools and gym. There are 16 retreat themes, from A Taste of Chiva-Som for first-timers to longer programmes, and a shorter Chiva-Som Essentials stay from two nights.
Rates are in Thai baht plus 17.7% service charge and VAT, and stays must be fully prepaid. There's a three-night minimum on standard retreats, guests aged 14 to 18 must be accompanied, and phones are kept to rooms and the library to keep the atmosphere calm.
| Delivery | Stays are booked online, by email or WhatsApp, or through a travel agent, and must be fully prepaid. Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 12pm; a three-night minimum applies to retreats (Essentials stays from two nights). Rates are in Thai baht plus 17.7% service charge and VAT. |
