About Connect Fibre
Connect Fibre is a UK broadband provider that builds and runs its own full fibre network. It only sells full fibre (fibre to the premises), with no copper line, and packages run up to 2000 Mbps. Every package comes with a TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 router, and the top Fibre2000 tier gets the Wi-Fi 7 Pro version.
The company says it was created in 2019 to bring full fibre to communities that have been waiting for it, and it is backed by the investment manager Foresight Group. The registered company was incorporated in January 2018 and is based on Kensington High Street in London. Because it is still building its network town by town, the first step is a postcode check; if your home isn't covered yet you can register interest, and some areas can pre-order before installation.
Alongside broadband-only plans there are bundles aimed at families, gamers and home workers, adding Connect TV, Connect Mesh Wi-Fi nodes or a static IP. The homepage lists plans from £25 a month fixed for 24 months, and the company says there are no mid-contract price rises. Payment is by Direct Debit only, and nothing is charged until installation is complete. A phone service and business broadband are also available.
