About Geekbuying
Geekbuying is an online electronics shop that has been trading since 2012. It began as a gadget site and now concentrates on bigger-ticket kit: 3D printers and laser engravers, portable power stations and folding solar panels, e-bikes and e-scooters, robot vacuums and pool cleaners, plus keyboards, tablets, projectors and handheld retro game consoles. Many of the brands it stocks, such as FOSSiBOT, LONGER, SCULPFUN, ANBERNIC and Lofree, are Chinese makers that are hard to find on the UK high street.
For UK shoppers the useful part is the UK Warehouse. Items marked as shipping from there come from stock in the UK, and Geekbuying says overseas-warehouse orders are processed in one to two business days instead of the two to seven days it takes for orders from China. Prices show in pounds when you shop from the UK, and the site takes major cards and PayPal.
It suits makers, gamers and anyone kitting out a workshop, campervan or home office who is happy to buy from a large overseas retailer. Before you buy, check which warehouse an item ships from, read the warranty terms and remember that privately owned e-scooters can't legally be ridden on UK public roads.
