About htophotels
htophotels is a Catalan hotel chain owned by a family holding company based in Palafolls, near Barcelona. The business started more than 50 years ago with José Florencio López Malo, and today it is led by his daughter, Mónica López Medrano, as President. Its motto is "happiness included", and it specialises in sunny beach holidays, many of them all-inclusive.
The hotels sit along the Catalan coast, on the Costa Brava (Platja d'Aro and Lloret de Mar), the Costa Barcelona-Maresme (Calella, Pineda de Mar, Santa Susanna and Malgrat de Mar) and the Costa Daurada (Salou), with htop BCN City near the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. They come in three ranges: #htopBliss for quieter, more upmarket stays, including the adults-only (18+) htop Pineda Palace and htop Amaika; #htopFun four-star family hotels with kids' clubs and entertainment; and #htopEnjoy three-star hotels close to town centres. All-inclusive is offered in Classic, Premium and Gold versions.
Rooms are booked in euros. A flexible rate lets you pay at the hotel and cancel free up to 48 hours before arrival, and a cheaper non-refundable rate lets you change dates as often as you like up to 7 days before. Direct bookings also get a welcome cocktail or glass of cava, and there is a UK phone number for new bookings.
