About Klook
Klook is an online travel booking company based in Hong Kong. It was founded in September 2014 by Ethan Lin and Eric Gnock Fah and has since grown with backing from large investment firms, reaching a valuation of over US$1 billion in 2018.
The site sells things to do rather than flights: theme park and museum tickets, guided tours, workshops, airport trains, city transport passes and other travel extras. Its strongest range is in Asia, especially Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea and Singapore, and its local teams pick experiences in thousands of destinations. Popular examples on its deals page include Universal Studios Japan tickets, teamLab digital art museums in Tokyo, airport express trains and day tours to Mount Fuji.
The UK version of the site shows prices in pounds sterling, so you can book and pay before you travel. Klook regularly publishes promo codes for specific destinations and products, such as money off Japanese rail passes or luggage delivery, and many listings show a saving against the retail price.
