About LawDepot
LawDepot is an online legal document builder with a dedicated UK site. You pick a template, answer a short questionnaire and it produces a document tailored to where you are in the UK, ready to print, download or email. The site says most documents take about five minutes.
The UK range covers the everyday paperwork people and small businesses tend to need: tenancy and flatmate agreements, rent increase and eviction notices, loan agreements and promissory notes, car sale receipts and bills of sale, employment contracts and offer letters, non-disclosure agreements, CV and cover letter builders, complaint letters, child medical and travel consent forms, and estate planning documents. Some documents are only available in certain parts of the UK, and the questionnaire asks you to choose England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland first.
Pricing is set out in its help centre. A one-year Pro subscription costs £83.88 to £119.88 a year, a free seven-day trial rolls into a monthly plan at £33 to £47 unless you cancel, and single documents cost £7.50 to £109 each. There's also an eSign option for documents that can legally be signed electronically.
