About Magazines Direct
Magazines Direct is the subscription shop run by Future Publishing, the company behind dozens of well-known British titles. Rather than a newsagent that stocks everyone's magazines, it sells subscriptions to Future's own: Country Life, Horse & Hound, Ideal Home, Livingetc, woman&home, Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, FourFourTwo, Golf Monthly, T3, What Hi-Fi?, Retro Gamer, The Week and The Week Junior, among many others.
Most titles come in print, digital or a print-and-digital bundle, and the product pages show the shop price next to the subscription price so you can see the saving. Some magazines have trial offers for new subscribers, which roll on to the standard rate unless you cancel. UK delivery is included in the price and goes by Royal Mail, and you can choose your start issue at the basket, which makes a subscription easy to give as a gift.
Alongside subscriptions there is a growing range of one-off bookazines and specials on music, gaming, homes and royal history, plus single back issues of the specialist titles and binders to keep them in. Existing subscribers manage their accounts, pause deliveries or claim missing issues through the separate My Magazine site.
