About Meshnology
Meshnology sells hardware for Meshtastic and MeshCore, the open-source projects that let small LoRa radios pass text messages and GPS positions between each other without any mobile signal. Pair a node with your phone over Bluetooth and you can message friends on a hillside, at a campsite or across a patch of countryside, with each radio relaying for the others.
The company started by turning bare development boards (from makers such as Heltec, Seeed and Elecrow) into complete kits with a case, battery and antenna, so you don't have to source the parts yourself. It has since started designing its own hardware, such as the W12 board built on Semtech's LR2021 chip. Alongside handheld nodes it stocks solar-powered relay towers, expansion kits with extra sensors, antennas, batteries and a few laser rangefinders and drone computing boards.
Prices are in US dollars, and orders for the UK ship from its warehouse in China. Its US warehouse only sends to US addresses. Standard delivery to Europe is quoted at 8 to 20 business days, faster couriers cost extra, and customers pay any import charges, so budget for that when comparing prices.
