About Scottish Fine Soaps
The Scottish Fine Soaps Company is a family business, now in its fourth generation, that makes bath and body products at its own site near Falkirk in central Scotland. It says around 99.5% of its range is made there, from bar soaps and hand washes to body lotions, bath salts and diffusers.
The products are grouped into scented collections. Sea Kelp, Au Lait, Wild Heather, Oakmoss and the men's Thistle & Black Pepper range sit alongside seasonal lines such as Orchard Spice and Fir & Firelight. Au Lait is now made with oat and chamomile milks rather than cows' milk, and the brand says its new-look products are vegan-friendly, free from parabens and microbeads, and not tested on animals. Many bottles are made from recycled plastic and several hand and body washes come in large refill pouches.
Gift sets make up a big part of the shop, with pages for gifts under £15 and under £35. You can also visit the factory shop on North Main Street in Carronshore, open Monday to Friday. Online orders ship across the UK in three to five working days, and the shop also sends to the US and other countries.
