About The Foam People
The Foam People is a family-run mattress maker based at Royds Mill in Ossett, West Yorkshire. It makes foam mattresses, toppers and pillows in its own factory and sells them online, delivered rolled and boxed. The range is split into Core, Comfort and Superior lines, with memory foam, cooling foam and firmer supportive foam options.
A big part of the business is made-to-measure work. You can order caravan, campervan and motorhome mattresses and toppers cut to shape, including dome ends, curved edges and cut-out corners, as well as static caravan mattresses, truck cab mattresses and themed kids' mattresses. After you order a bespoke piece, the sales team gets in touch to confirm your measurements and plan.
The company says it was set up in 2021 and is part of The Sleep People group, with more than 75 staff making and packing products in-house. Delivery is free across its range, and standard items are usually made and sent within two to three days. Made-to-measure pieces take up to 12 working days to dispatch and can't be returned unless they arrive faulty or to the wrong size.

Ways to save at The Foam People
- Orders over £400 get an automatic 5% discount, so it can pay to buy a mattress and topper together.
- Check the Best Sellers on the homepage: several Core mattresses and toppers are currently marked down by 5-10%.
- Delivery is free on everything, so there's no need to pad out a small order like a pillow or replacement cover.
- Measure carefully before ordering a bespoke caravan or campervan piece, as custom sizes can't be returned for change of mind.
