Travel Insurance Saver is a travel insurance brand from Rothwell & Towler, a family insurance business that started in 1973 and is based near Exeter. The Travel Insurance Saver name was launched in 2018 to offer simple, lower-cost cover. Policies are underwritten by Inter Partner Assistance S.A., part of the AXA Group, and are sold on a non-advised basis.
You can buy single trip cover with no upper age limit for trips of up to 63 days, or annual multi-trip cover for travellers aged up to 75 with trips of up to 31 days each. There are Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers, plus specialist cover for cruises, winter sports, groups and families, and screening for pre-existing medical conditions. The site says policies include up to £10m of medical cover, more than 125 sports and activities as standard, and 24/7 emergency help and GP advice. Buy direct and you can also add flight delay cover that pays £50 automatically if a registered flight is two hours or more late.
