Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every Vila Galé code here comes from Vila Galé itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. When you shop through our links, Vila Galé may pay us a commission. It never changes your price. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.

Vila Galé is a Portuguese hotel group founded in 1986 by Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, who still chairs its board, and its capital is entirely Portuguese. It started in the Algarve, where Vila Galé Atlântico on Praia da Galé in Albufeira was its first hotel, and it now ranks first among Portuguese hotel companies, with 52 hotels, nearly 12,000 rooms and around 5,000 staff.
Thirty-four of the hotels are in Portugal, from Algarve beach resorts and Lisbon-coast hotels to Alentejo wine estates, Porto, the Douro, Madeira and the Azores. The rest are in Brazil (13), Cuba (4) and Spain, where Vila Galé Isla Canela is an all-inclusive beach resort on the Costa de la Luz. The Vila Galé Collection brand covers historic and more upmarket buildings such as Palácio dos Arcos and Sintra. Many hotels are aimed at families, with NEP Kids Clubs, and the group also runs Satsanga spas and makes its own wines.
You book on the English-language site, with Portuguese and Spanish hotels priced in euros. Children up to 12 sharing their parents' room do not pay for accommodation, subject to room capacity. The free Vila Galé Club gives Star members 10% off rooms, dining, wine and spa treatments, rising to 15% for Premium members after 10 nights in a year.
