Worldwide Insure is the trading website of Worldwide Travel Insurance Services Ltd, an independent, family-run travel insurance specialist based at the Business Centre on Commercial Road in Paddock Wood, near Tonbridge in Kent. The business was set up in 1993 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 307592.
Its core range is travel insurance: single trip cover for trips of up to 94 days, annual multi-trip policies, longstay cover for trips of 3 to 18 months, wintersports cover including off-piste options, and cruise cover with optional extras for UK residents such as missed port and cabin confinement. It also sells car, motorhome, van and minibus hire excess insurance, and offers further products including private medical, wedding, pet, holiday home and European car breakdown cover. Unusually, it covers residents of the UK, the EU and many other countries, and can sometimes arrange cover for people who are already travelling.
Travellers with existing medical conditions can call for an in-house medical screening, and the site lists age limits by policy, with some policies having no upper age limit. Policies bought online are emailed straight away, and there is a 14-day cooling-off period. Cover, limits and exclusions vary by policy, so the policy wording is the place to check what is included.
