Stacking: how to combine codes, cashback and gift cards
One discount is good. Three on the same order is better. Here's what can be combined and what usually can't.

Most stores allow only one discount code per order, but a code is only one layer. Cashback, discounted gift cards and loyalty points usually sit on top of it.
| Layer | Usually stacks with a code? | Typical saving |
|---|---|---|
| Cashback site | Yes, if you click through first | 2–10% |
| Discounted gift card | Yes | 3–8% |
| Store loyalty points | Usually | 1–5% |
| A second discount code | Rarely | — |
The order matters
- Buy any discounted gift card first.
- Click through your cashback site to the store.
- Fill your basket and apply the discount code.
- Pay with the gift card, then a card that earns rewards for the rest.
Worked example
A £120 homeware order with a 15% code comes to £102. With 4% cashback on top that's another £4.08 back, and paying with a gift card bought at 5% off saves £5.10 more. Total saving: £27.18, or about 23%.
