Black Rock Grill is a family business from Hampshire, founded in 2005 by Debbie and Peter Hatter and their daughter Louise, who had previously run hotels, restaurants and pubs. It's built around one idea: heat a volcanic stone, bring it to the table, and let everyone cook their own steak, fish or vegetables exactly how they like them. Restaurants, pubs and cruise lines use the system, and the company sells smaller sets for home cooks too.

It suits anyone who enjoys a dinner party with a bit of theatre, steak lovers who are fussy about doneness, and people looking for a foodie gift. Beyond the stones, the shop sells Effeuno and Macte electric pizza ovens, Pizza Party gas and wood ovens, MFItaly dough mixers, Biscotto pizza stones, Tramontina steak knives and bamboo serving boards.
