CV Villas has been arranging villa holidays for more than 50 years. It's the trading name of Corfu Villas Limited, a London tour operator that began in Corfu and was once called CV Travel. Today it rents out hand-picked private villas across Greece, Italy, Spain and the Balearics, France, Portugal, Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey, Morocco, the Caribbean and Sri Lanka. It suits families, groups of friends and couples who want their own pool and space rather than a hotel.

Prices are shown in pounds, with euros, Swiss francs and US dollars available, and every villa page shows a "from" price for the whole villa. You can book the villa alone or add flights from airports right across the UK and Ireland, plus car hire and transfers. CV Villas is a member of ABTA (V9979) and holds ATOL 337, so villa-plus-flight packages are protected.

What's worth a look

Here are six villas from CV Villas' current list, from a Puglia farmhouse to a Marrakech retreat.

For a big family get-together, Kalokairi Beach House in north-east Corfu sleeps 16 across seven bedrooms, has a heated pool and a path from the garden to sandy Kalamaki beach, from £3,930. Smaller groups might look at Masseria del Faro in Puglia, a three-bedroom farmhouse among olive groves about three minutes' drive from the coast near Torre Vado, from £1,791.

If you'd rather have the beach on your doorstep, BrisaMar sits within Herdade dos Salgados in the Algarve, a short walk from Salgados Beach, with restaurants, bars and a spa nearby. For something different, Dar Toozween near Marrakech comes with a cook service and breakfast service included.

Current offers

We don't have CV Villas codes in our feed yet, but these are on the CV Villas site:

• Friend referral: if someone you know has travelled with CV Villas, their code REFER200 takes £200 off your first booking when you spend £2,000 or more. It's for direct bookings only and can't be combined with other offers.
• Benessere Rock House in Corfu shows savings of up to 30% on selected dates.
• BrisaMar in the Algarve shows savings of up to 40% on selected dates.
• The Special Offers page lists last-minute villas and 2027 offers by country.

How to save more

• Price your trip from your nearest airport: the search covers regional airports in Scotland, the north, the Midlands, the south west, Northern Ireland and Ireland, not just London.
• Split the cost. Larger villas such as Kalokairi Beach House can work out better value per person than several hotel rooms.
• Plan for the balance. Deposits start from 25%, and the rest is due nine weeks before you travel.
