Faith In Nature has been making natural-origin toiletries since 1974, when it was started by an aromatherapist and herbalist. It's still independent and family run, and everything is now made in Manchester. The range is vegan and cruelty free, the brand is a certified B Corp, and it says it was the first company in the world to put Nature on its board, so the natural world gets a say in big decisions.

The shop covers shampoo, conditioner, shampoo bars and hair masks, body wash, hand wash, bar soap and lotions, along with laundry liquid, washing-up liquid and even a dog shampoo. Products are grouped by familiar ingredients such as rosemary, coconut, lavender and geranium, and grapefruit and orange, and by hair type: normal, oily, dry and curly.
