Les Mills: home workout bundles with SMARTBAR, SMARTSTEP and LES MILLS+

Les Mills is the company behind group workouts such as BODYPUMP, and its UK equipment shop sells the same kit for working out at home. It suits people who already do Les Mills classes and want to keep going between sessions, as well as beginners who'd like a guided programme with the right equipment from the start. The other half of the offer is LES MILLS+, the on-demand workout app with more than 2,000 workouts across strength, cardio, HIIT, dance, cycling and mind-body classes.

The shop's workout bundles are the obvious place to start. Each one pairs equipment with a free LES MILLS+ subscription of three or twelve months, and the bundle price is lower than buying each item separately.

What's worth a look

For a full home set-up, THE WORKS at £679.99 includes the SMARTBAR barbell with weight plates, a SMARTSTEP, a SMARTBAND, an MBX mat and 12 months of LES MILLS+, with £241.83 off the separate prices. THE WORKS PREMIUM adds a vertical storage rack and costs £949.99. If you mainly want BODYPUMP at home, the BODYPUMP & STRENGTH bundle (£589.99) and the BARBELL SET (£439.99) both come with a year of the app.

The smaller kits are easier on the budget. The Yoga Pack at £89.99 has an MBX mat, a yoga strap and three months of LES MILLS+. The LES MILLS SHAPES BUNDLE, currently on sale at £54.99, includes sculpt bands and a slider set with three months of the app, which suits small spaces.

Current offers

• 20% off LES MILLS Equipment is listed as a current offer for the UK shop. Check that the discount shows at checkout before you pay.
• Every bundle is priced below the total of its separate items, from £13.11 off the SHAPES BUNDLE to £362.45 off THE WORKS PREMIUM, and each comes with a free LES MILLS+ subscription.
• You can pay in four instalments with PayPal on the bundles.

How to save more

• Count the app in the price. The twelve-month bundles include a full year of LES MILLS+, so if you'd pay for the app anyway, the bundle works out well.
• Start small. If you're not sure you'll stick at home workouts, the Yoga Pack or SHAPES BUNDLE gets you started with three months of the app for under £90.
• Look at pre-loved kit. The shop has a pre-loved equipment section, which is worth checking before you buy a new barbell or step.
