Longer is a maker-tools brand that started out in 3D printing and has since moved into laser engraving and UV printing. It says it has more than a million users in over 120 markets, and its machines are aimed at hobbyists, crafters and small businesses who make personalised gifts, signs, wedding favours, jewellery and merchandise at home.

UK shoppers buy from Longer's European store, which prices everything in euros with tax included. The UK is on its delivery list, with orders shipped from EU warehouses in roughly three to seven business days after a day's processing. The EU free shipping offer doesn't cover the UK, so you'll see the delivery charge at checkout.

What's worth a look

These are the main machines on the store right now, plus the 3D printer range. Prices for UK delivery can differ from the default European prices, so check them in your basket.

If you're new to laser engraving, the Ray5 miniS is the starter machine. It has a compact 130 by 140mm working area, a choice of laser power from 2.5W up to 10W and Class I safety protection, and when we checked it was shown at €155.99 against a regular price of €297.59 for UK delivery. The larger Ray5 10W/20W gives you a working area of about 400 by 400mm for chopping boards, signs and coasters, while the B1 30W/40W is built for heavier cutting work.

The Longer ePrint is the newest launch: a desktop UV printer with two print heads and 12 ink channels that also handles DTF transfers for clothing. It can print onto surfaces with up to 10mm of height variation, and bundles add a rotary kit for tumblers or a laminator for stickers. It's a serious investment aimed at people selling what they make. The 3D printer range includes FDM and resin machines, though several were listed as sold out when we looked.

Current offers

We don't have any Longer discount codes yet. The store's main machines are all shown below their regular prices at the moment, including the ePrint, which is on a launch offer at €2,038.80 against €3,238.80 for UK delivery. Buy now, pay later in four payments at 0% APR is offered at checkout.

How to save more

  • Check the bundle options on each machine page, which group accessories such as rotary attachments with the machine and can work out cheaper than buying them separately.
  • Work out the sterling cost and delivery charge before you order, as prices are in euros and UK orders don't get free shipping.
  • Test your machine as soon as it arrives: returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt, and machines carry a 12-month warranty.
