Malta Paradise is a UK tour operator that only does Malta, Gozo and Comino. It's part of Cyprus Premier Holidays Ltd, a London business that began in 1992 as a specialist in Cyprus holidays, and it sells package holidays with flights from airports across the UK as well as hotel-only stays, flights and guided tours with Maltese guides. Prices are in pounds per person, package holidays are protected under ATOL 9345, and the company is an ABTA member.

It suits people who want someone to sort out the whole trip, from families after a pool and a beach to couples looking for a spa hotel or a quiet few days on Gozo. If you'd rather talk it through, advisers answer the phone Monday to Saturday.

What's worth a look

For a quieter break, Gozo is the obvious choice. Hotel Ta' Cenc & Spa sits on the cliffs away from the crowds, with a private beach, pools and a spa, while the Grand Hotel looks over Gozo's harbour and has rooms with a balcony or terrace.
